Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce our 7th International Hip Arthroscopy Meeting, which will again take place in the “Alte Kongresshalle” in the heart of Munich, from November 4–5, 2016.

As a novelty, this year’s course will transmit live arthroscopies from the U.S.A., U.K., and several places in continental Europe. Consequently, the surgeons can present cutting-edge arthroscopic techniques in their familiar operative settings, including labral reconstruction and different techniques for labral and cartilage repair.

The programme around the live transmissions will include step-by-step guidelines on how to access the joint, deal with the articular capsule and, most importantly, how to work within it. Competing techniques for correction of osseous deformity, repair and reconstruction of the acetabular labrum and hyaline cartilage, as well as other controversial topics will be presented, provoking constructive discussions in the auditorium.

Munich, one of Germany’s most popular travel destinations, has much to offer. Whether you are interested in history, architecture or art; whether you enjoy strolling through parks, guided tours or a visit to Munich’s famous, traditional beer  gardens, you’ll always find something exciting in this multi-faceted city.

We look forward to welcoming you to Munich in November!

Michael Dienst                                        Richard N. Villar
